Most people that meet our chickens are pretty scared of them, cause they like to charge at you and recently have taken up pecking at bare toes. OUCH!
When mama and daddy feed them, they have to put their food down REAL fast, so that they don't get attacked by hungry birds!
But I'm not afraid of any silly ol' chicken! I poke em right in the head! See?!

you are brave! aunt mimi used to plug her ears around such animals when she was your age. chickens, cows, deer, rabbits -- didn't matter. i'm glad you aren't following in my footsteps!
