Photography Fun

Did you guys know that while being a model—which I totally am—I'm also a photographer? I'm pretty good at it and do not like it when people try to help me...AT ALL! Here are some photos I took the other night at Nan and Pup's house....

I don't like to give people a ton of warning when I take their photo—I like to surprise them! That's why Violet looks so scared and Mimi looks so weird. I think taking photos is my favorite pass time, along with strumming Papa's kee-tar, dancing, dressing up, singing, pretending I'm an orphan, talking in an British accent, playing with my friends.......

Face Painting Fun

Hey guys! I talked Pup into letting me paint his face after dinner tonight. I made him into a clown! Doesn't he look funny? I wanted Pup to turn me into a kitty...and I think he did a pretty good job! We're a couple of artists we are...

Workin' Hard

I've been working really hard at being cute... that is, learning how to "coo" and laugh.

Mumma tried to take a video of me (as you can see here), which was really funny because every time she put the camera down, I'd laugh really hard. Silly Mumma.

New Year--New 'Do'

So to ring in the new year, Mumma and I decided that I should have a new 'do'. We thought it would be fun to give me a hair cut after school before Daddy got home... to surprise him!

This is how long my hair was when we started:

I wanted Mumma to cut if all off so that I could look like my friend Marin, but she thought that maybe we should start by taking off 'a little' (4 inches) and seeing how I liked that.

I'm really happy with how it turned out--what do you think?!

Happy 2012

**by Mumma

I couldn't help but look back today at our first New Years with Ayda in our lives. What I found was one of my favorite photos of her... what a knuckle head.

She proves to still be our little monkey. There's never a dull day here in the Sonnenberg household!

Happy New Year to all our friends and family--may 2012 treat you and yours well!

Introducing... Olivia Jones!

Santa must have been listening to all those prayers in my closet, because I got my very own American Girl doll!

As soon as I came downstairs Christmas morning, I knew exactly which box she was in...

... I couldn't believe my eyes! It was the exact girl I'd picked out with Nana!

I named her Olivia Jones. Isn't she just perfect?

My aunt Sally made me some really pretty clothes for her too. She even has her very own purple fleece coat and hat! I'm not sure how she knew Santa was bringing my Olivia, but I'm glad she gave us such a fancy wardrobe!

oxox Ayda Sue

p.s.- please disregard my crazy, fake, red hair. I just couldn't resist pulling it out of my dress-up box for Christmas morning! Mumma was thrilled...
