This is a recent self-portrait Ayda made at her after school Rec. program. She used construction paper and markers and one of the staff girls helped her cut out the pieces. Everything is pretty correct—she wears headbands and has beautiful blue eyes. So...that red stuff coming out of her mouth? Yeah, that's blood. Because this is Ayda Zombie. And the blood has made a mess on her pretty green shirt. We're not sure if she ate off her hands or they simply fell off as she turned from human to zombie...does it really matter?

Where do these kids come up with this stuff??!! I am getting so excited to see your girls this summer...even if one of them happens to be a zombie!
