Yurt Photos -- Finally!

Here is our yurt! Mum, Dad and I took Marley and Roxy on vacation with us. It was fun having us all go somewhere together.



There wasn't much to do in the wilderness so Daddy showed me how to play Strip Poker. I lost, which was ok 'cause I love to be naked anyway.



Isn't my baby harness to die for? It's so comfy for both me and Mommy. We took a lot of walks while we were on vacation.



This is the view from our yurt. Isn't it pretty? We didn't go swimming but Marley and Roxy did! Crazy dogs...

The Common Ground Fair

We went to the Common Ground Fair in Unity this past weekend. Uncle Jeff and his girlfriend Jamie were visiting from California and they came with us! It was a cloudy day, which was perfect weather for my Mimi-made lemon hat. It's getting a little snug on my head...

I felt so tiny in Jeffy's arms! He's big and muscle-y. Jeff and Jamie took turns holding me, which was nice because I like lots of attention.





This is a photo of me NOT getting attention. There was lots of stuff to look at at the fair, like goats, bunnies, vegetables and wool. Lots of food to eat, too. I just had the usual -- booby.

This coming weekend Mum, Dad, Nana and Papa are all going to a wedding and leaving me in the care of Mimi overnight. We're going to have lots of fun I just know it! On Friday Mum, Mimi and I are having dinner with Pam, Jill and my buddy Lily -- check back to check out the photos!

Screamer

Guess what, guys? I can SCREAM!
I'm getting used to using my vocal chords. Sometimes I scream so loud that I can hardly believe it's little me! Papa says it's "glass-shattering" and Mimi says it's "eardrum-bleeding" but it's fun and I'm not going to stop just because they don't like it.
I scream when I'm happy and when I'm mad. It doesn't matter!
AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Model-esque

Here's my first professional photo. Aren't I cute? I get to go have my photos taken 3 more times! When I'm 6 months old, 9 months old and a year! There were so many to choose from it was really hard for mum and dad. It's tough being a gorgeous baby, let me tell ya!

I caught a cold at daycare. I've been really stuffed up this weekend. Daddy tried to suck the snot out of my nose with this weird looking blue thing and I hated it! It's been hard for me to breathe and I've been pretty cranky about it. I had a nice long nap yesterday, though, and had a nice afternoon playing with Mimi and watching Nana sew me some cute new outfits on the sewing machine. They're a little big for me right now -- maybe in a couple months I'll actually get to wear them. They're so comfy looking I don't know if I can wait that long. I'm getting to be such a big baby that my pants are turning into shorts!

Hand-Sucker

Ayda wouldn't be Ayda if she wasn't sucking on her hands. She sucks on them when she's in the tub, when she's sleeping, and whenever she starts to cry. With the sucking comes the drool. Ayda is the drooliest baby I've ever seen. She'll even suck on MY fingers, holding them like a corncob, if I let her. If I hold her over my shoulder she'll suck on my shoulder. No hickies yet...

Weekend Fun

This weekend the whole family went to Camp Jordan to play kickball with some of Mum & Dad's friends. Papa was teaching me to play checkers. We were losing and I was really mad about it!




It was Family Day up on base. I got to meet all of Daddy's friends and co-workers. Dad was very proud to show me off and I was on my best behavior. Everyone thought I was cute. Check out the new sweater I was wearing.

Nana made it for me. She also made me a cute hat out of the same yarn, but that's more of a winter accessory....
