Today is Mama's birthday! She is 27-years-old. Daddy bought her tulips (her favorite flower) and they went out to Ichiban -- their favorite restaurant. Aunt Sal gave them a gift certificate for Ichiban for Christmas and they put it to good use on some sushi.
While my parents were out I went grocery shopping with Nana & Papa. That's where I picked out this beautiful balloon for Mama. Isn't it pretty and shiny?
I love it.

Baby Freight Train
My best friend at daycare, Marin, is crawling. She's just a couple of weeks younger than me and a SHOW OFF. Last week Mom gave Marin's mom a pair of my new pants that I couldn't fit into comfortably. Mom called her a "skinny baby." Not me! I'm super healthy!
Anyway, Yesterday Tammy placed me on one side of the room and Marin on the other. The little bugger revved her engine and headed straight for me on all fours. I put my arm up in the air and yelled "HELP ME!" and Marin stopped. But then she came at me like a wild boar and Tammy couldn't stop her before she ran right into me.
Marin might be fast, but I'm hefty. The next time she does that I'm going to just sit on her!

Alfafa
OH MY GOD look at my silly hair today!
I took another bath at Nana & Papa's last night and Daddy used the blowdryer on my hair. I got this silly Alfafa Sprout that Daddy thought would go away by the morning.
Guess what? IT DIDN'T! And I had to go to daycare looking like a Kewpie Doll. Mimi told Tammy and Twyla not to make fun of me today...

Cute Curls
Daddy and I had supper at Nana & Papa's last night. Then I got a bath in the kitchen sink -- which I love by the way. It's so funny to be in the sink! It cracks me up. After my bath I got powedered and lotioned and put in my comfy pajamas. Nana did my hair! I'm getting little curls at the nape of my neck.
I really love looking at my books. I have a bunch of really good ones.

RENT
Last weekend Mimi and Mumma went to Boston to see the musical RENT with our friend Pam. I had a fun weekend with Daddy, Nana and Papa. This week Mumma is out in Utah with Merri-Beth for work. Mimi is going to take me to daycare and Papa is going to pick me up so that Daddy can go to his class. Teamwork!
This is a photo of Mom and Pam at RENT. Aren't they adorable?

Blah....
I have been sick for the past couple of days. The doctor doesn't know why I'm puking -- maybe I have a virus or maybe the four teeth I'm cutting on my top gums is making me sick. In any case I'm trying to keep up my cheery disposition. But now Mumma is sicky! Did I give it to her? I hope not!

When I Grow Up
I've been thinking about what I want to be when I grow up. I have a LOT of choices! I could be a television personality like Oprah Winfrey...
Or I could go into politics like Hillary Clinton....
Or maybe I'll be a star in Hollywood like Jessica Simpson...
The possibilities are endless, really.

Red Sled
This is my new sled. Daddy put me in it for the first time last night to go over to Nana and Papa's while he plowed our driveway.
It's very sturdy and I have a little seat belt to keep me safe. I love going down the path between my house and Nana & Papa's. Daddy doesn't go too fast and it's lots of fun! We have so much snow here in Maine! Mimi, Nana and Papa didn't have to go to work yesterday because of it! Daddy and Papa are still very sick and all the shoveling and plowing hasn't been easy on them. If I was bigger I'd help out...
