It's Spring time! And you know what that means? A sloppy, muddy, driveway- of course!
Now is the perfect time to wear the new rain boots Nana bought me.
Aren't they just perfectly pink?
I love to 'squish, squish' in the mud outside. Sometimes I fall down and cover myself in a soupy mess, but Mama doesn't mind. She just shakes me off a little and sends me on my way.
It does make for a lot of wardrobe changes in a day though...

Planes!
This morning while I was putting Ayda's pony in we heard a plane.
"Wha's that?!" she whispered.
"A plane," I said.
Lately when we talk about planes Ayda tells me that they're scary- so I was really expecting her to tell me that they were, indeed, scary.
Instead, she thought about if for a second and said, "Oh- Daddy fix it?"
When I asked John if they had talked about this, he said he had mentioned it to her last night, but nothing more.
She amazes me every day.

"Mines Cake!"
I LOOOOOOOOOOVE MY CAKE!
I also love to PARTY! PARTY! PARTY! Everyone got a chance to blow out a candle the other night. It was so much fun. I even got my own little cupcake! Baby sized!

Birthday Biscuits and a New Coat for ME!
I helped Nana make biscuits for Papa's birthday dinner.
First I mixed it...
Then I pounded it...
Then I rolled it out and Nana cut them into pieces and I put them on the plate to cook. I am a great helper!
And GUESS WHAT?! Even though it was Papa's birthday Nana gave me a new coat and hat she made out of some vintage material. Am I not the most adorable thing?
xo Miss Thing.

Crazy Candles!
Today is Papa's birthday but we celebrated it Sunday night. Nana made boiled dinner and this delicious German chocolate cake! Papa said he'd let me practice blowing out candles on his cake -- my birthday is right around the corner ya know -- but the crazy things wouldn't stay blown out!

Ponies!
These are my ponies. I LOVE THEM!
I'm much better at letting Tammy put them in than Mama. When Mama tries I fake cry "OW OW!" even before she touches me. I love when they get wet because they look like corkscrews!
I am such a big girl that I don't even take a bath in my baby bath tub anymore. Mama and Nana fill up the big tub with water and I splish-splash all over the place!
One of my favorite things is "TSUNAMI!" This is when Daddy or Mimi take a plastic container and make a really big wave that splashes all over me! It's so much fun. I call them "saw-mies." Tsunami is really hard to say...

Monsters = Lobsters
We ate MONSTERS for dinner the other night! I was very excited about it. I even watched them boil in the pot. I didn't know if I'd like them -- they're really funny looking and smell weird -- but Papa insisted I try and I did. They were pretty yummy all coated in butter and stuff. AND in the summer Mimi says I can have monsters and corn on the cob in the same meal! I love Maine!
