I'm Gonna Be Famous One Day

So a couple of weeks ago, Papa took out his kee-tar and let me play it—as long as I was sitting down with the kee-tar on my lap. I happen to be a budding singer/songwriter so I really love to practice.

Sometimes after school, Nana, Pup and I watch the Ellen Show on TV. I just love her! She's so funny and she loves to dance...just like me! I asked Mimi to take a video of me performing one of my songs and send it to her. I'm hoping she plays it on her show but we'll see....

Tubby in the Sink

So today, Nana got my hair all greasy to comb some "cradle crap" out of it. She did a good job, but left me looking like a grease monkey!

Nana and Papa washed out my hair and then I got to get in the kitchen sink for the first time! It was the perfect size for me!

Like any baby, I like being naked! Tonight I figured out that I can fit my feet in my mouth!

Who Needs Mumma, Anyway?

I'm getting so big now, I think I might not even need that old Mumma anymore....

Ayda on Ice

Even though we haven't had snow, it has been cold enough for our bog to freeze. Daddy and I found this little patch of nice smooth ice the other day, so I decided I wanted to try out my skates... finally.

I need a little more practice (and some bigger skates) but I think I'm getting the hang of this!

Happy Birthday Mumma!

Mumma got a whole year older last Tuesday.

We had a special dinner and Nana and I made this cake! I was especially helpful with the candles.

That spells "Mumma," right?

Everybody sang "Happy Birthday", even Violet

and then I helped blow out the candles.

Of course, no birthday celebration would be complete without a little entertainment! I made Puppa pull out his "keytar" so that we could strum together and sing Mumma a few tunes.

I just love a good party.

Introducing: Sophie the Giraffe

Hey guys!
This is Sophie the Giraffe. She's my favorite toy because she squeaks and she's fun to chew on. Nana bought Sophie for me from an online store. She was $20 because she is made from real honest-to-goodness rubber, hand painted, and she's European. Everything is more expensive in Europe.

About a month ago, Nana went to her favorite store, the Orono Thrift Store, and found another Sophie the Giraffe for...wait for it...ten cents! She almost fainted. Thrift Store Sophie is a little loved, but she tastes just the same as the original. Nana, unable to resist an amazing deal, bought Thrift Store Sophie so I could have one at home and one at Nana and Papa's house. I'm the luckiest baby in the world!

Mmmmmmmm..... Sophie.
