Fez

We were having a hard time finding a hat that is small enough to fit my head but this is ridiculous...

Photos from New Hampshire

New Hampshire Get-A-Way

Hi Everyone!

New Hampshire was great! It was so hot out that Mum and Dad didn't even go hiking. I went for my first swim this week. I really liked the water. Mum says I'm going to be a good swimmer. I was very cranky on the car ride down. I turned a 4 hour car ride into a 6 hour one. Impressive! I met my Great Uncle Ray -- he thinks I'm cute. I think he's pretty cute too...for an old guy.
Have fun looking at my photos! I'm getting big....

On Vacation

I am all by myself. Mum, Dad and the Sonnenberg Trio (Jennie, John and Ayda) left on Sunday for New Hampshire. Mum suckered them into some sort of deal where they have to listen to a talk on a timeshare. Mum and Dad are going to watch baby Ayda while Jenn and John do some hiking. So that means I am doggie-sitting until Wednesday. Ayda better not have a growth spurt while they're away!

Dog Days

I'm only 7 weeks old and I already have three four-legged friends. Roxy and Marley have been good doggie companions ever since I got home. Marley was very protective of me at first. He would follow me around and sit at the feet of whoever was holding me. Roxy is more curious. She sniffs me at least 20 times a day. I'm not sure if she thinks I smell good or bad. I guess sniffing me is her way of making sure I'm still the same baby Mum and Dad brought home from the hospital...

Clean as a Whistle

I really love to take a bath now. Mum bought me this bear-shaped sponge that we put in the sink so I don't slip-slide around. My favorite is getting my hair washed and rinsed. It's so relaxing! Aunt Mimi and Nana give me a bath just about every other night. I'm the cleanest baby ever!

Laughter

I almost laughed at Papa last night. He was making some really funny noises. I know I CAN laugh, I'm just not all that sure HOW to yet. Mum was saying that she didn't want Papa to get my first laugh -- so I'm going to try to save my first one for her. Unfortunately she's not as funny as Papa is...

Jennie vs. Ayda

This is a photo of Jennie when she was a baby. You can see that Ayda didn't get her hair from the Brooks side of the family. Ayda has this same expression, though, when she's mesmerized by something -- usually the always fascinating ceiling fan. I think Ayda is a good mix looks-wise between Mum and Daddy. What do you think?

Ceiling Fan

I LOVE the ceiling fan. The other day I was sitting with Mum for TWO HOURS just watching it. It doesn't even have to move to grab my attention -- but it definitely helps.

Happy Father's Day!

Hi Everyone!

It's my dad's first Father's Day today. I got him an indoor/outdoor thermometer. It was just what daddy wanted. Mum got daddy a hat and t-shirt that says "Rookie Dad" on them. Pretty funny if you ask me.

Nana, Papa and Melanie came over for breakfast this morning. It was so sunny and nice out that we decided to drive to Peaks Kenney State Park for a picnic on Sebec Lake. We drove an hour there and it started to thunder and lightening. What a bummer! They have a nice campground there that I really want to go camping at sometime. So instead of a picnic we ate lunch at a little restaurant in Dover-Foxcroft. I slept through the whole thing, of course.

Yesterday Mum, Melanie and I went to the first birthday of my new friend, Lily Chandler, in Veazie. Lily's parents, Jill and Case, went to high school with Mum. Lily and I are going to be best friends, I just know it.

Welcome!

Hi Guys!

This is my new site. From here you can read all about my adventures in baby-hood and comment on the blog posts if you want to. I hope you want to! I'm also going to put a bunch of pictures up here for you all to see. As we all know babies grow up too fast and my family likes to take a lot of photos of my every move.

Enjoy!
